Project Description:

As part of Florida Hospital’s renewed commitment to improve women’s health services with a focus on innovative and personalized medical care, Florida Hospital for Women features world-class physicians and an innovative wellness and prevention platform to provide women with tools to live longer, healthier lives. The 400,000-square-foot, 12-story inpatient tower includes 336 beds including 18 high-risk patient rooms, 54 postpartum rooms, 84-bed NICU, 14 labor and delivery suites, 3 C-section suites and physician practice space. The 10 operating rooms for obstetrics and women’s services have the capability to fit daVinci robots for minimally invasive surgery. Services lines focus on pregnancy care, obstetrics, maternal fetal medicine, infertility treatment, parent education, primary care, breast care, cardiology and wellness care. Three floors within the Tower provide for shared surgical services and expansion of 108 patient beds.
