Project Description:

Providing an unparalled educational and collaborative experience, Florida Hospital’s Nicholson Center was added to its Celebration campus as a freestanding education and training center. Ten years since its inception while housed within the main hospital, the new building construction features provide for facilities that train more than 20,000 physicians annually. The didactic and education spaces include executive conference suites, catering kitchens, a large pre-function lobby and “collaboration lounge”. The large multi-use International Conference and Education Center, built on an HD multi-campus integrated technology platform, accommodates up to 500 learners. The Clinical and Surgical Skills Lab includes 25 surgical stations, two 935 square foot team training and education operating labs and a lab dedicated to the quarters of six Da Vinci robots.
